These photographs has taken French Michel, every summer visitor in Joensuu.
After very unusual wind and after very big calculation error !
Two "very special pictures" I took in Linnunlahti (siirtolapuutarha ), in Joensuu. The first one in 1992 after a very violent storm (fortunately not our !)and the second one during the 2005 rock festival when a balloon was obliged to land in the middle of the summer cottages !
The quality of these pictures are far from excellent but I hope you appreciate the humour of them, said Michel.
These cities are taking part in today`s theme:
A Swedish coffee brand used to run a very successful campaign “when you have an unexpected visitor”. I bet they’d have loved something like your balloon shot.

ReplyDeleteQuite funny Mimmu :)
Sunny day to you and your family too.
that is crazy! the house is upside down?? WOW
ReplyDeleteThe house is really upside down. And the most incredible is that a crane put back the cottage at its place. No one was injured, and few dammages were reported.
ReplyDeleteA mini tornado (some meters wide only!)
the balloon was huge!
ReplyDeletegood collaboration with Michel
Per,
ReplyDeleteI remember that campaign, it was well done, not irritating at all.
Gerald,
yes, but these are real happenings, but no one was injured as Michel says.

I understood theme day in this way :))
tanty,

kala,
Finland is so peaceful without any big storms or earth quakes, but sometimes a little like this must happen !
michel,
thank you for your photos and explanations of a situation in pictures, that it was real!
Wow. What a windy day that must have been to blow the house over. LOL
ReplyDeleteMy Theme Day is of a city unto itself, with its own zip code, and a portrait of the "Peashooter" at the National Museum of the United States Air Force. Hope you like flying.
I like these photos of consequences!
ReplyDeleteWhat amazing photographs. Big calculation error indeed. Love that phrase!
ReplyDeleteNice catch Michel! I guess you were at the right place, at the right time...
ReplyDeleteThis summer had been quite choppy!
